About me
Where it started
I come from South Moravia — a region of vineyards, wide fields and strong roots. I grew up in a winemaking family, where hard work and consistency were part of everyday life. From early on, I knew I wanted more from life — to explore, to grow, to lead.
At 18, still in high school, I flew to London for a summer job I arranged on my own. I returned the following year, driven by the same curiosity and independence. Later, I moved to Prague to study Finance at the University of Economics (VŠE).
Turning point
From CFO to Arctic Explorer
In 2024, I was honored to be selected as part of the Forbes 30 Under 30 — a recognition of years of hard work, risk-taking and never being afraid of challenges. But something else was happening underneath.
During that time, I visited Svalbard twice — a remote Arctic archipelago, just 1,300 km from the North Pole. Both visits changed me. I felt an unexpected sense of calm, clarity and deep connection with the landscape.
I knew I would return. While finishing a project in Prague, an opportunity came to take on a managerial role in a local expedition company. I didn't hesitate. Today, I live and work in Svalbard — managing sales, back office and daily operations in the northernmost place in the world, where planning must constantly adapt to extreme weather, polar logistics and unpredictable nature.
Leading here means balancing structure with flexibility — and decision-making with respect for the land. From finance to fjords, my story is about creating space for both logic and wonder. And the journey is far from over.
